This is a fisherman we saw while on honeymoon in Madagascar. The fisherman sail far out to sea very early in the morning in basic dug out sail boats, then race back to deliver their catch to get the best price. On shore runners take the fish inland, literally running with the fish for many kilometres. The fastest runners and earliest fishermen get the best prices, because they have no refrigeration and it is only a matter of time before the fish spoils. It is all over by 11am.
