Scottish Summer Wedding

On the 25th July 2015, in front of our closest friends and family. Michael and I exchanged our wedding vows.

We were married under a floral archway, in the grounds of my parents garden in College of Roseisle, Scotland. Michael and I didn’t want the ‘traditional‘ wedding day, we wanted things a little different, a little less formal and with lots of love and happiness. We chose to be married with a beautiful and moving humanist ceremony; where we celebrated our life and love for one another.

Whilst we were busy with wedding photos, we’d organised and created some lawn games for our guests to entertain themselves with! This worked as a treat and everyone had a great time, laughing in the sunshine and celebrating with us.

For the evening, we hired a couple of Scandinavian style tipis, which created the perfect backdrop and venue for a delicious meal, and then emptied the tables and chairs for a good old fashioned Scottish Ceilidh into the small hours.

Please, enjoy our video as much as we enjoyed our wedding day.
